It has been a Pleasure

Well the English 98 is over and I just want to say it has been a pleasure working with all of you. Thank you all for the wonderfull discussions we had from DB assignments, to MWA, to seminars all of them have grate experiences to share with every one of you. I also want to thank Phebe for all the ways she made this class fun.

I do not know of this poem is makes sense with what I have been talking about, but I wanted to share it anyway.

The Road Not Taken


TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,


And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.


I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

I believe that just like Mortenson and many other people we should also take the road less traveled by. Because I believe that it will lead to wonders we cannot even imagine. God Bless all of you on your journey.

  1. It might sound silly, but this posting of Robert Frost's poem brought a tear to my eye. What a fitting poem to close this class with. You have been open to your learning experience and it is evident that you will continue marching forward on your educational journey and that you will be successful in your career goal of fish & wildlife. Great job!
